Uncle Mark and Aunt Katie visited us over New Year's. We're so happy they made the drive from Chicago to meet Tyler for the first time and spend a couple of days with us. The girls, especially, loved having their aunt and uncle here. First of all, they brought American Girl Christmas presents, so of course Aunt Katie and Uncle Mark won the girls' hearts over immediately. Even Tyler enjoyed having them here and gave us one of his biggest smiles thus far.
The two full days Mark and Katie were here, the girls constantly requested their aunt and uncle to play with them upstairs, and each night Mark and/or Katie had to read them a bedtime story, brush their teeth, get their PJs on, etc. I have to admit, it was a nice break from the normal bedtime routine for Mom and Dad :) And after the girls were in bed, we had a great time playing with our Christmas presents. . . Wii Resort Sports and Apples to Apples game.
We hated to see them go as a fun time was had by all!!!
