Although still incredibly hot and muggy, Grandma's back porch was clearly a favorite during our stay!

Here's a brief recap of the last few crazy weeks:
August 9 - after 35 days on the market, we have our first house showing
August 10 - we accept an offer on our house
August 11 - inspection on our house
August 12 to 24 - pack, pack, pack
August 24 - move into Grandma's house
August 25 - movers load the majority of our stuff

So while all five of us invade Grandma's house for a week, the girls kept busy after school today with bubbles on the back porch. 

4 year old preschool

Claire had her day of firsts today! We decided to change preschools this year, so I was a bit apprehensive about dropping Claire off on the first day. She did great, however, and just went right in without crying or complaining. And when I picked her up this afternoon, she had nothing but wonderful things to say about her new teacher and the kids in her class!

1st grader

An exciting day at our house for Grace...new grade, new school, new teacher, new friends! She handled all the changes wonderfully and is excited for her new school and new friends (and soon, new home)!

Last day of summer break!

Our last lazy day before we start our 6:45am wake up calls tomorrow morning!
